It is our immense pleasure to recommend Barbara Levine as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for the ideal home for their unique situation. I was offered a job at the University of North Carolina and need to relocate in a few short weeks. I was not planning to return to Virginia so I needed to find a house in the Chapel Hill area.
Barbara had an initial meeting with me and took diligent notes regarding my specific short timeline and relocation needs. She went above and beyond to help me narrow down the list of houses on the market and only focused on those that would really speak to me. She is highly talented technologically and made excellent use of the relevant search engines and real estate databases to send me choices that I could view online as they became on the market. This helped me not waste time when I made trips down from Virginia.
She is a master with the contract negotiations. Throughout this home buying process, she managed to get all the items on my “wish list” at an excellent price, especially considering the current market situation. She knows the Chapel Hill/Durham area like the back of her hand. There is nothing that escaped Barbara’s attention when it comes to properties for sale in this area.
We found Barbara to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if we were her only customers, although I know that was not the case. She returned all phone calls and emails the same day. I never felt neglected or unimportant. She is also highly personable with an engaging personality. Barbara was honest about some minor changes that I needed to make in our townhouse to attract buyers quickly, and her advice worked like a charm.

If you need a real estate agent in the Durham-Chapel Hill area, I would highly recommend Barbara Levine. She has lived in Chapel Hill for a number of years and knows the area well. From start to finish Barbara was prompt, knowledgeable and responsive. We lived out of state and the fact that she is up to date on the latest technology helped greatly when we had documents to read or sign. During the process we needed someone to do an inspection of the house and an attorney for the closing. She had good recommendations of who to call to do the job and contacted them for us.. She also worked with the seller´s agent to make sure that all needed repairs to the house were taken care of before we moved in. Once we had settled on a house we were able, with her help, to move everything along smoothly and quickly. At the time that Barbara was helping us she was also working with a number of other clients but she always made us feel as if we were her number one priority.She always responded to emails and phone calls immediately. If we had a question and she did not know the answer, she was quick to get one. She gave good advice when we were ready to make an offer and we ended up with a house we love at a very fair price. In addition to all of Barbara´s great professional qualities she is very personable, likable and a delight to work with. You will not be disappointed if you choose her as your agent.
